Who we are, what we do & why we do it:

My Name is Jennifer Shore. I am the founder and operator of Critter Tales Inc. I was born & raised in Oklahoma. I am the mother of four sons. I have always had a strong passion for wildlife. I am an Oklahoma Master Naturalist, and a Certified Project Learning Tree Facilitator with Oklahoma Dept. of Forestry. I developed my knowledge and skills by volunteering in several animal areas at the Oklahoma City Zoo as a Junior Curator, and later became an employee of the Zoo's Education Department.
Critter Tales  began in early 2006.
Critter Tales has been 'bringing the wild to life' to diverse groups across Oklahoma for over 10 years. We're looking  forward to many more years of continued growth as we connect people to wildlife and nature.
Critter Tales Inc. is a non-profit organization, and our mission is to promote awareness of wildlife and conservation  through exciting educational programs for all ages. Critter Tales brings programs to youth and adults that teach a  broad range of concepts in a fun and interesting way. It is our hope to help others realize that they too are a very important piece of a very fragile puzzle. We all share the planet Earth. Every thing is connected.
Participants are allowed and encouraged to touch live animals during our presentations, but we are not a traditional  petting zoo. We believe in hands-on education.

Critter Tales Inc. is a 501c3 non profit organization. USDA Licensed, and FWS permitted.
All of our animals receive dontated vet care from Dr. Zac Coldiron
